Let's walk around Jojakko-ji temple. One of the most underrated spots in Kyoto!
Jojakko-ji is a quiet and pleasant temple located Arashiyama area. He is surrounded by the beautiful nature on the mountainside of Ogura mountain. The temple was founded in 1596, by the 16th head priest of Honkoku-ji, during the Keicho era 1596–1615.
On the top you can enjoy a scenic view of his 12 meters tall pagoda with Kyoto city as background.
Jojakko-ji is situated on the slope of the mountain and offers great overlook views of Arashiyama area.
